National Merit

The “Longhorn Award and Student Scholarship Opportunities” (LASSO) website provides a scholarship search for UT Austin. The following scholarship is available for National Merit Semifinalists and/or Finalists. You may also qualify for the “Forty Acres Scholars Program” which provides a full-ride to the University of Texas at Austin. (See below for more information).

  • Nicholas and Linda Endres Endowed Merit Scholarship
    • Preference for students who have received National Merit finalist or semifinalist designation. If no such students exist, or the National Merit program ceases to exist, preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated academic merit.
    • Meeting scholarship eligibility does not guarantee awarding. This scholarship is awarded through the OSFA Continuing & Transfer Student Scholarship Application, available to current UT undergraduates and incoming external transfer undergraduates from November through mid-March each year.

  • The Forty Acres Scholars Program is the premier full-ride, merit-based scholarship for The University of Texas at Austin. Administered by the Texas Exes, this scholarship program offers a rich college experience that provides academic, leadership, professional, and cultural opportunities within an intimate cohort of fellow scholars.
  • There are many additional scholarship opportunities at UT Austin that you can search for on the “Longhorn Award and Student Scholarship Opportunities” (LASSO) website.
