National Merit
- National Merit Semifinalist: Scholarship equivalent to tuition for four years.
- National Merit Finalist: Scholarship equivalent to tuition, campus housing, meal plan, and a $500 semester educational allowance for four years. Finalists will also receive a one-time $4,000 study abroad scholarship.
- Finalists must list The University of Southern Mississippi as his/her first-choice institution with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation by May 1.
- Semifinalist and Finalists must complete the online application in the GO System with official documentation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation by May 1. We encourage Semifinalists to submit his/her documentation by December first for early awarding.
