National Merit
University of Montana participates in the National Merit Scholarship Program and offers awards of $2,000 a year to finalists who have indicated UM as their first choice for attending college. Semi-finalists who enroll at UM receive an award of $1,000 a year.
Additional Scholarship Opportunities
Undergraduates pursuing their first bachelor’s degree are automatically considered for either the Western Undergraduate Exchange program (WUE) or the University of Montana Academic Achievement Scholarship (UMAAS). Only students who are residents of western states are considered for the WUE.
