Additional Scholarship Opportunities
- Mānoa Academic Merit Scholarship
- Amount: $2,000 to $4,000 per academic year.
- Residency Status: Hawai’i Residents
- Hawai’i residents with a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0-3.59 will be considered for a $3,000 scholarship per year. Total $12,000 over 4 years.
- Hawai’i residents with a high school cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher will be considered for a $4,000 scholarship per year. Total $16,000 over 4 years.
- Residency Status: U.S. citizen, Hawai’i non-resident (including WUE-eligible students)
- U.S. citizen, Hawai’i non-residents (including WUE-eligible students) with a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will be considered for a $2,000 scholarship per year. Total $8,000 over 4 years.
In-State Residents
- Regents Scholarship
- The award amount is equivalent to full-tuition each year for 4 years + $4,000 per year stipend + $2,000 one-time travel grant. This scholarship is open to all Hawaiʻi residents.
- Regents Scholars are also Honors Program Scholars, which means that in addition to the generous scholarship award, students receive the benefits of being in the Honors Program. These benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Provost Achievement Scholarship
- The award amount is $10,000 per year for 4 years, and this scholarship is open to Hawai’i residents.
- GPA: Students with a 3.7 cumulative high school GPA or higher will be considered for this scholarship.
Out-of-State Residents
- Mānoa Excellence Scholarship
- The Mānoa Excellence Scholarship recognizes high-achieving students who come to UH Mānoa from outside of Hawai’i. Students selected for this scholarship embody UH Mānoa excellence in all that they do, from academic accomplishments to community engagement.
- The award amount:
- For U.S. citizens who are non-Hawai’i residents (and are not WUE-eligible), is equivalent to student paying Hawai’i resident tuition rates. The amount is approximately $22,032 per year for 4 years; and approximately $88,128 total for all 4 years.
- For U.S. citizens who are non-Hawai’i residents (and are WUE-eligible), is equivalent to WUE-eligible student paying Hawai’i resident tuition rates. The amount is approximately $5,652 per year for 4 years; and approximately $22,608 total for all 4 years.
